Hi I'm Peter

I grew up in Arizona. Heavenly Father brought my family to Colorado, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in Arizona and my family didn't have much. We did have each other, though. I had ten brothers and sisters all from the same incredible parents. We were raised on love and hard work. As a youth I was actively involved in all the sports I could manage. Cross Country, Swimming, Wrestling, Football, Baseball, Soccer, Bikes, and Skateboards were all a big part of my life. As I was running laps and wrestling in Junior High, I also received the Priesthood. This was a big change for me and even as a youth I understood how important it was to honor this gift. I went through the typical adolescent phases in High School, but was always looking forward to serve a mission for my church. I was called to serve in the Philippines Angeles Mission and completed two years of service for the Filipino people. The ability to serve with faith and love was the most valuable education I gained on my mission. It helped me in my college education and later Church service. Most of all though, it has helped me in being a husband and father to a small happy family.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I was born into this life and raised a member of this church, I have always known that it was my choice to be a member. I have always considered it a privilege to be a Latter Day Saint. I have seen many people come into the Church and I have seen some leave. I am a Mormon because I asked God what I should do, and through His Holy Spirit, He revealed to me that this is where I need to be.

How I live my faith

Currently I help the eleven year old boy scouts get ready to join the older scouts. The boys' goal is to achieve their First Class Rank and even some of the merit badges they need. I also visit some of the families in our area on a regular basis to make sure they are doing ok and offer spiritual and temporal support. My primary responsibility, though, is to be a good husband and father. The love of my life is a strong and beautiful woman that stands behind me to lead and guide our wonderful family. We do our best to help them be good people and to have faith in Jesus Christ.
