Hi I'm Emma

I grew up in a small town in Northern Ontario. I love music and arts. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm in my second year of college, taking the Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant program. I plan to continue on to a Communicative Disorders Assistant program and pursue speech therapy. I love to play the piano (like any Mormon I suppose) as well as sing and dance. I love reading and I also love to write!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it's the only religion that allows us to -in fact encourages us to- ask as many questions as we can come up with, and never run out of answers :)

How I live my faith

Though I was born and raised in the church, if it weren't for my non-member friends, I wouldn't be half the member I am. It's important to not isolate yourself from non-members because you grow with them. They encourage me to follow my standards, and do what's right. Before I had much of a testimony, I needed that extra boost to continue to follow the gospel. Now that I have that strength, I can use it to help those people who brought me here.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

We help everyone! So much service is given to countries in need, especially ones in which just went through natural disasters and loss. Absolutely no discrimination is involved in our church, and we have no limits to the amount of people we can help :) Show more Show less
