Hi I'm Clif

I grew up in Eagar, Az. I have weathered many trials and self inflicted hardships. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Eagar, Az. I have two loving parents, an older brother and two younger sisters. I am thirty years old, I am married to the woman of my dreams, we have two amazing children with hopefully ten more on the way. I chose the school of hard knocks as opposed to any formal college. I have been a carpenter, a heavy equipment operator, truck driver, sawmill operater, wood hauler, and most currently a propane man, but my favorite jobs have been being a husband and a father. I love the great out doors, hunting(a little too much according to some), hiking, horseback riding, hauling wood, photography, running, snowmobiling, camping, and most of all hanging with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in an amazing L.D.S family, baptized when i was 8 years old, and lived happily ever after. . . NOT! ok the first part was true but not the happily ever after part but i am working on it. I was a little bit of a rebellious teen and i had to learn a few hard lessons on my own and gain a testimony of the truthfullness of the gospel on my own not by listening to or reading others stories. I dropped out of high school at eighteen, robbed a gun store, stole a car and ran for Vegas with a friend. After a few days of living in fear i turned myself in and was locked away in jail. This is where my journey really started. I was locked away for 119 days, and i was a scared little boy but this is where i learned what it meant to me a christian and more importantly to me, a mormon! In the jail i was in there was two visitation days a week so while i was there, there was a total of 34 visitation days in those 34 days i had over 100 visitors from my community take time from their busy days to come over 30 miles one way to visit me and share their love with me, including the man whom i stole the car from (who just happened to be my bishop). The love and compassion that was shown to me by my family and friends was overwhelming, but most importantly the forgiveness that was given to me for the hurt that i had broght upon my family, friends, and community. It was in this dark spot in my life that i began to come to understand what forgiveness meant and as i began to study my scriptures and pray for answers and forgivness i began to gain an understanding of the Atonement of our Saviour Jesus Christ. It was through this understanding, the forgiveness from those who i had hurt, and an opportunity for a new start that i decided i once again wanted to be a Mormon, and to have the influence of Jesus Christ in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying hard every day to remember that we are all sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father and yet at the same time we are all human. The greatest gift that i have ever been given is that of the Atonement, Pre
