Hi I'm Howard Eltiste

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an retired Federal employee, who farms part time raising corn, soybeans wheat and feeder cattle, doing some business consulting, doing repairs on my wife's rental business. I buy and sell a few used pickups trucks. I graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln with a degree in Animal Science. One of my hobbies is shooting trap and sporting clays. I have been married for 30+ years and we have 5 children scatterred from Utah to Texas; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Why I am a Mormon

My wife was a member before me and she introduced me to the missionaries. As I learned about the church I came to a realization of the term fullness of the gospel. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is able to explain the gospel with plainess and understanding. As my knowledge of the church increased the experiences I have had cemented my belief in Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Day by day and 2 steps forward and sometime 1 backward. Continuing to try to do the things that I should and not the things that I shouldn't. Trying to help people to improve their lives by attemptiong to be there when they need me and being their friend. Church assignments take up some of my time and by doing those things I am able to draw close to the Savior.
