Hi I'm Jacqueline

I'm a farm girl - grew up on a ranch in Nevada.

About Me

My husband and I have been married 51 years and are blessed with a wonderful family of children and grandchildren. We have great family reunions and really enjoy each other. I have taught school and always enjoyed being involved in education.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church. My great grandparents - one set walked the plains to Utah with a handcart company and another set came by wagon train to Arizona after they joined the Church. This has given me a rich heritage of faith in God and hard work. We learned with the Lord's help, we could accomplish anything by following correct principles. I am so thankful for the clean life the gospel has taught me to live and the good health I have been blessed with. I have come to know Jesus Christ and trust him completely with my life. I know what he wants for me is right and will make me the happiest and most fulfilled. I am a person that wants to know the truth and through the gospel of Jesus Christ, the truth of all things is available to me. I love this gospel and it has built for me a most amazing life.

How I live my faith

I have been very active in public education in my community and state. I also love to teach at Church. I have made many close wonderful friends over the years through serving with others or serving them. It is so fun and rewarding to watch generations of families grow and see the influence that living the gospel in their lives. There are now six generations of families I know and enjoy hearing about. I see how the gospel principles have helped them live extraordinary lives - quiet lives of service and fulfillment. We learn how to do so many things as we serve in the Church that helps us raise our families and expand our talents and abilities. I am so thankful for all the opportunity to grow the Church gives me. I have learned to love others more and find joy in them.
