Hi I'm Lillian

I am from Fiji. I love cultural dancing. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest in my family and i was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I love the outdoors, especially the Ocean. My favourite thing to do in a casual time is to pick sea-shells, watch the waves and the sunset. I attended BYUH for 2 years, and currently serving in the California Carlsbad Mission. I love dancing, sports, reading Novels, and socializing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because i know that this is the only true and living church upon this earth. I have come to learn more of the savior and His teachings and they are indeed true. I know that the Book of Mormon contains the fulness of the everlasting gospel. The Book of Mormon is another testament of our Savior, Jesus Christ and it is true. We have a living prophet upon the face of the earth who leads and directs the people in the Latter days. These truths I was able to obtain it through prayer and scripture study. If we follow and obey His words, we will be in the path that will lead us back to our Heavenly Father. My faith in the Savior and knowing what He has done for you and has kept me in the straight and narrow path. I am grateful for the testimony of a living Christ. I know our Father in Heaven loves us and he wants us to succeed. He wants his children to return and live with him again with our families. He has given us trials to strenghten us and if we rely on his arms of mercy, we will overcame those obstacles in life.

How I live my faith

Through out my life, I have participated in service projects for the community as well as in the church. I have served as a teacher, a chorister, and a pianist. This callings in the church have helped strengthen my faith. As I devote my time, talent, and all, I know that I am not only serving the people but I am serving our Heavenly Father. Service plays a big part in my life in which my family has been a good example to me. They have shown Kind acts of charity and love to those them. I have been blessed for what I do as a missionary, and has been a living testimony that I strive to be like our Savior each day.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

We believe that God, the father and his son Jesus christ, are two separate beings. They have a body of flesh and Bones just like us, but are in a perfect form. Thus the Holy spirit does not have a body, but is a comforter, and the third member of the God-head. Show more Show less

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

The Atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ consists of three main important events. The Suffering in the garden of Gethsamane, the cruscification on the cross at Calavary and when he rose on the third day. This three significant events plays a big role in the saviors Atonement. As he suffered in the Garden, he took upon himself the pains and afflictions of all mankind. So whatever struggles, huddles that we go through in life, the Savior had been there. He knows our needs. He paid the price of sin. Everyone is not perfect and we fall short of given circumsatances, thus we are drawn away from the privildges of having the Holy Ghost in our lives. The Savior's sarifice has allow us to reconcile with our father in Heaven and always His spirit to be with us tho help us through this life. Christ died and is risen that you and I may live again with our father in heaven. His resurrection is a gift to everyone that we our bodies and our spirits will be reunited in perfect form upon the second coming. i know he livesand he is my Savior and Redeemer. Show more Show less
