Hi I'm Tanya

I am a wife and a mother. I work for and volunteer in local schools. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy working with children. I like to read and to see the look on a child's face when they discover a love for reading. I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, camping and geocaching.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church on January 1, 1998. I was raised catholic but did not attend meetings regularly. When I met my husband and his family, I was impressed at the closeness and unity that they had. It was something that was lacking from my own life. I decided to take the missionary discussions and prayed about the things they were teaching. I have a testimony of the truthfulness of this church and its teachings. I am proud to call myself a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I serve in many capacities. I organize the monthly meetings for the women in our ward. These are fun activities that range from educational to spiritual but are always social events. I recently took part in our community emergency preparedness fair, teaching about 72 hour kits.
