Hi I'm Caroline

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of 6 and grandmother of 12. It is hard to believe since I still fill like I'm 20. I love life. My favorite thing to do is run. I'm kind of like a turtle, slow, but I can go the distance. I. Have run 12 marathons. I have 8 grandsons that I love reading and playing with.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and asked God if what I read was His word. The answer I received was a great feeling of peace. Similar to how you feel when you have helped some one in need and you know that it was a good thing to do. I just knew that what I was taught was the kid of good that would never let you down. When I ask Heavenly Father if these things are true, I have the most incredible peaceful feeling come over me. Not once but many times. I have come to know that this is the Holy Ghost testifying the truth to me. There is power in knowing the truth. I also know that I am a daughter of God. That motivates me to act like one. I love sharing my love of the Savior with other people.

How I live my faith

I love being a member of the ward that is in my community. I have taught many of the youth, and my own children over the years. I love seeing people accomplish goals and watching the youth grow up and become adults. My children have all served missions for the church. I know this has made them better friends, employees, bosses, mothers, fathers all around better people. They have brought a lot of joy into my life. Now I am able to serve a full time mission for the church. With the love and support of my family. This gives me time to work and serve in the community. After receiving so many blessings it is enjoyable and satisfying to give back.

What is being a Mormon like?

Caroline
When I was young my father would not allow mormons to come to our house, but my Mother taught me the gospel and to love my Savior. As a teenager I went to every church that I could attend looking for one to attend. I never found the feeling that was in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in any other church. The Holy Ghost has testified to me that the Church of Jesus Christ is true. Now as an adult I was able to teach my children how to fallow Christ and receive answers to their prayers so that they can know for themselves. They have grown up to be very responsible adults. That is why I love being a Mormon. There is a lot of comfort in knowing you are doing good things. I'm not perfect, my family isn't perfect, but we love each other and help each other get through the hard times. There is a lot of joy in the journey. Show more Show less
