Hi I'm Dani

I'm a chilean-swedish mormon who is studying at uni to become a teacher in swedish and history.

About Me

I am currently studying at the university of Stockholm, and I have two years left. I enjoy music, poetry, movies, books and great food. I enjoy a good game of Phase 10 and a great joke. I care a lot for my friends and love to help others. I have many good friends that are not members of the church, and the respect and love me for who I am. My religious background has never been a problem for them. I love to live the Gospel, even when time can be rough.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents where converts during the 60s in Chile. Both my parents are chilean. My siblings are baptized in the church. The main reason why I am a Mormon is that in these days we need something to believe in, something that is higher and mightier than us. I believe that by being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints, we can receive the help and love that lifts us up. Obviously, people and inanimate objects can bring that happiness, but the strength of the Holy Ghost is very difficult to bescribe, but I know that it is an uplifting feeling-

How I live my faith

To live the Gospel is an amazing gift that has been given to all of us. To pray each day, to read my scriptures every day, and to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the fullest is something that helps me live my faith. Everyday is a new way to find great opportunities to help others and to strengthen my faith in my older brother, saviour and redeemer Jesus Christ. I have had moments in my life that were filled filled with indifference and bad decisions. When times like these happens. That is when I live my faith a little bit more. To underestimate the guidance, that God gives us, is something that I do not want to do. I want to live the Gospel, and always remember that the day I was baptised, is the day when I realized that life would become a quest, a great adventure. I have had ups and downs, but I have overcome many obstacles, thanks to the church and my brother Jesus Christ.
