Hi I'm Keith Hardin

I grew up in Georgia and have been a professional portrait photographer for over 30 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Being the son of a coach and educator, I grew up in small rural communities in Georgia. We seemed to move about every 3 or 4 years for awhile. I attended high school in Dallas, Georgia. I am a husband and father of 4 children I played basketball at Mississippi State University I love all sports. I am a portrait photographer. I love hiking and photographing landscapes also.

Why I am a Mormon

My father is a convert to the church. When he married my mother he was taught by missionaries and joined the church before I was born. I grew up as the only Mormon in my high school. I served a mission for the church in Central California after one year of college. When I returned home, I found myself drifting away from the church and was inactive for quite awhile. After marrying my wife, who is not a member of the church, I knew I wanted to raise my family with religious beliefs and starting attending church once again. My wife has always supported my religious beliefs and attended church with me for all these years. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ and his atoning sacrifice for me personally. I know that the Book of Mormon is a second witness of Christ. I know there is a living prophet upon the earth today. But most of all, I am grateful for the true teaching of eternal families. I just can't imagine life without my family.

How I live my faith

I am involved in my community. As a local business person, i want to make my small community better for others. I love working with the youth. At this time, my calling in the church is Elders Quorum President.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Keith Hardin
While many non members believe that Joseph Smith is the author of the Book of Mormon, he was actually only the translater. The Book of Mormon is a collection of records of the people of the america's written by prophets who lived and taught the gospel of Jesus Christ on this, the American continent, beginning about 600 B.C.. It records many great civilizations and their destruction. It prophesies of Christ; his birth, crucifixion and resurrection. One book recorded the actually visit of Christ to this people after His Resurrection. The book contains the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, testifying of him and his great atoning sacrifice for ALL mankind. I would encourage anyone to read, ponder and pray and ask God in humble prayer about the truthfulness of the book. In the last chapter of the book there is a promise (Moroni 10:4-5) that those who read it and sincerely ask God about it, can know that it is true. Show more Show less
