Hi I'm Ruth

I grew up in the UK. I moved to Australia. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a stay-at-home-Mum of two children, aged 3 and 1. I have been married for 10 years. My husband and I moved Australia from the UK in 2007 where we are loving the sunshine and laid back lifestyle! I love to bake and craft and my children keep me busy too! I am a primary school teacher and hope to return to it someday!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, my parents were, and still are, very strong members. I stopped going to church at about age 17 but returned 4 years later and have been active in the church ever since then. My life is an ongoing study of trying to do the things that I know are right. I love to go to church and am constantly learning new things and drawing strength from the other members.

How I live my faith

I taught the smallest children in Church on Sunday for a year and a half. Their ages were 18 months to 3 years old. It was such a pleasure to see them learn and grow through music and playing. Teaching them simple truths and how to communicate with their Heavenly Father through prayer.
