Hi I'm Jessica

I'm a daugter, I'm a sister, I'm a writer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My biggest passion right now is writing. I fell in love with writing as a child and I've never stopped since. I've written over 200 poems and hope one day to have them published and I'm also currently writng a couple of different books. Along with writing I love to read, especially lds historical fiction and non fiction. I have the opportunity to be around Heavenly Father's most precious spirits each day at work; I am able to see the excitement as toddlers acomplish something new. I like to go hiking when I have the time, I am able to admire the scene that Heavenly Father has created; it's so peaceful and beautiful. Most of all I love to be around my family, they make me laugh and are always there for me. I'm grateful that I am able to be with them for Eternity!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because with out it I don't know who I would be. I've been a member my whole life and I've been through struggling times and when I feel like I can't make it, I know that I can turn to my Heavenly Father for help and guidence and know without a doubt He will be there for me. I'm also a Mormon because family plays a huge part within and having the knowledge of being with my family for Eternity is comforting.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to those around me. I serve those around me by either giving a ride to someone who needs one or just simple listening a friend who is having a bad day. I was a branch missionary for 2 years and during those years I got to know some awesome people. I was also able to teach the basics of the Gospel for about a year. I was able to grow as a individual more because I was relearning what I was teaching. I also live my faith through writing poetry about Christ and how He lived and died for me so that I may be able to live with him again!
