Hi I'm Amy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student in my twenties balancing two jobs, school and social life. I love so many different things like hairstyling, cooking, family traditions, music, laughing with friends, exercising, and playing with my nieces and nephews. I love to create things and find joy in making ordinary things beautiful and unique.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I love the peace and hope that comes when I pray to my Heavenly Father and feel His infinite love for me as His daughter. Without that hope, I don't know how I would make it through the challenges of life. I know that Jesus Christ lives; I feel His love for me and know that He wants me to be happy. I have hope that although we are all imperfect people, if we turn to Him we can repent, be healed and keep trying. I am a mormon because I know that through faith and covenants with God, my family can be together forever. One of the most amazing examples to me in my life was my grandma who passed away last year. Even though I miss her so much, I know that because of God's plan for us, I will be able to see her again and be with all my family for eternity.

How I live my faith

I love going to a school that is so diverse. It is eye opening to learn and grow from other people's experiences and backgrounds. In a college setting, being a member of the church with high moral standards in dress and appearance, and language sets me apart from most people on campus. I am a constant representation of the church and its' values. Because of my love for my Savior and His infinite atonement, I try to live my life in a way that expresses my gratitude through kindness and charity to those around me.
