Hi I'm Jovey

I grew up in Philippines. I am here in Indiana now and got married here. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a blessed wife to a loving kind husband. I am a nurse and I like writing poetry.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon in many ways. As a Mormon, I learned and I believe and I know that Heavenly Father our Eternal God lives, that Jesus Christ is our Lord Savior-our Heavenly Father's Only Begotten Son and Jesus Christ lives, two separate Divine Almighty Beings and that the Holy Spirit is the Testifier of all Truths. As a Mormon, I also learned, believe and know the pure and complete eternal plan of salvation by our Heavenly Father, not just a part of it but the fulness of His plan, it started in Heaven during that counsel when Heavenly Father's laid out this plan to us His Spirit children, of which our Eternal Salvation is centered in the ATONEMENT of Jesus Christ as our Savior and TRUSTING and have FAITH in Jesus Christ in all things in our lives here in earth. I learned, I believe and I know, that our lives did not start here in earth, it started in Heaven (our first estate as His Spirit children), our second estate is here in the earth as in flesh and our Heavenly Father's will is to have us back to Him as a complete Estate with a broken heart and contrite Spirit through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior- the Way, the Truth and the Life. As a Mormon, I am learning many things, believe, know and hope for many things which things are in harmony with Heavenly Father's and Jesus Christ teachings which begun in Heaven and were taught since from Adam & Eve millions years ago up to now by the witnessing of the Holy Spirit every time. I learned, and I believe and I know that the concept of family did not start here in earth, it started in Heaven as well and it has to be followed through till the end of times- to get back to Heavenly Father's presence as Eternal Families. I love this part of Heavenly Father's Plan of Salvation. I can't wait for my parents and brothers to learn this part of our God's Plan of Salvation & all the Full Plan and be a family not only here in the earth but through all for eternity. This is why I am a Mormon, a Covenant Child of God in the last days.

How I live my faith

I live my FAITH actively by living life every day like Christ. It is not easy to live like Christ but it can be done with the help of our Heavenly Father through Faith in Jesus Christ our Savior and by the daily guidance of the Holy Spirit. I try to live life daily keeping in mine little things but have eternal impact like trying to be pure in thoughts, in words, and in deeds. In words specifically by means of avoiding using the name "God" & Jesus Christ in any vain or just typical conversation. I do not drink coffee, tea anymore as part of the Health Code of Heavenly Father. I do my daily prayer, I try to do my family prayer w/ my husband & our scripture reading either the Bible (old & new), the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Prize or listen to words of the Prophets in old times or today's Prophet, whichever Scripture our reading would directs us. My husband & I usually use our teaching guide for study or the Gospel Principles & we follow & read the Scriptures presented in that reading. I go to church of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints our official name of the church with my husband every Sunday to partake of the Sacrament -renewing my covenants with Heavenly Father I have made during my baptism and Remembering Jesus Christ of the Infinite Atonement He has done for me and for my husband and for us all. I live my FAITH in Jesus Christ daily full of hope, peace, joy, eternal assurance, obedience and patience from within that extends through eternity, in short with Eternal Perspective all the time. I am grateful for all the Scriptures specially for the Book of Mormon that brings peace, joy, courage, assurance, hope, faith & power that helps us remember and feel from within, that takes us back to where we came from that connects us to today and brings us forth to where we suppose to go- back to our Eternal God our Heavenly Father and to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior- our Families in Heaven in the Kingdom of God.
