Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love people and writing, and laughing, and traveling and going to school. I've lived in Utah almost all of my life, and I am a student at Brigham Young University studying sociology with a minor in psychology.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon, so my first reason for being a member of the LDS church is simply because my parents were. Growing up however, it has become so much more than that. I gained a personal testimony of the truthfulness of the things I learned over time; like it says in Isaiah "line upon line". I am a Mormon today because living the gospel the way the Mormon church teaches it is what makes me happiest. This church has brought me closer to my Father in Heaven and my Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I can't get enough of this gospel! God has been so good to me and I try to give everything I can back to Him. I attend meetings on Sunday and try to attend as many church activities during the week as I can. I try my best to study the scriptures every day, and to align my life with the plan that God has for me. I love the sense of community that being a member of this church brings. This church provides a place where people can come together and help lift each other as we face the challenges of this life.

What is faith?

While it is true that faith is not a perfect knowledge, that doesn't mean that faith is blind. It is a responsible trust in a God who knows you personally and loves you perfectly. If you let him, he will direct your life. Show more Show less
