Hi I'm Justin

I'm a law student in Washington, DC. I have a Russian wife and will soon have two kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Montana with divorced parents. My parents were not religious, but I have ancestors in the LDS Church since the 1860s. I became interested in religion and studied my own family history when I was quite young. The Church was a great place to teach me the importance of family and how to be a good father. The Church also taught me great values like the value of education. Thanks to the support i found in the Church I served a two-year mission in Russia and was the first in my family to graduate from college. I'm now in law school with a desire to practice law in Moscow.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of my own experiences since I was young. My family was not religious and they opposed me being a "Mormon". I read the Book of Mormon and liked how it made me feel. I prayed about it and felt that I got the answer I needed. Then I prayed about other things and found that with time God's answers became clearer and easier to distinguish from my own thoughts and feelings. The Church brought me closer to God.

How I live my faith

My wife and I teach the two-year-olds at Church. We also teach our 4-year-old who already wants to be in Boy Scouts and serve a mission.
