Hi I'm Chantell

I grew up in the hot heat of Mesa Arizona. I'm that girl that wants to be everyones friend and I'm always smiling! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to Laugh. I love to Dance. And I love to do hair. Yes Im a Cosmetologist and I do love it! I have been working at a fun salon a little over 2 years now. I am no longer a college student, however I have 4 roomates that are! We have so much fun together we live in Utah right next to Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University, so there are tons of young people and lots of fun thing to do! I Love My Family and I miss them all the time!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family where the gospel was taught to me from a very young age. I recognise that as a big blessing. I have always known in my heart and in my mind that it is true. When I came to the age of 8 I chose to be baptized. From that time on I have known that I can choose right or wrong and that it is my choice, I also know that I am accountable for the choices I make. Heavenly Father gave us the Atonement because he knows that we are not perfect. I am so greatful for the opportunity I have to renew my baptismal covenants every sunday when I take the sacrament. Heavenly Father Loves us so much that he gave us his Only Begotten Son to Atone for our sins. What a blessing it is to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints where there is modern day revelation. I know that this is the only True Church on the Earth today. I know that the Book of Mormon is True.

How I live my faith

I attend a singles ward every sunday! I love it and I love my bishopric! I also attend a Institute of Religion class twice a week at the local University. Making these activities a priority in my life gives me strength and guidance. It helps me to be more Christlike as my week goes on and reminds me what I'm striving for.

How are modesty and chastity related? How can parents teach their children to be modest in dress, language and behavior?

Modesty is a way to show our obedience and love for our Heavenly Father. Modesty shows that we respect our body and temple that Heavenly Father has lent to us while we are here on Earth. It shows others that we also respect ourselves and that our body is something special and sacred. The Law of Chastity is meant to protect us. Physical Intimacy is saved for marriage between a man and woman. When we dress modestly it shows others that this is a priority and standard we have set for ourselves. Show more Show less
