Hi I'm Jimmi

I'm a Dad, I'm a Sparky and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm in the middle of a family of 9 children. I grew up beside a sugar cane farm in the bush, 10 minutes from the beach. I'd rather be outside then in. I love the beach, any sport where I can chase a ball especially volleyball. I'm a proud Dad of two. A lucky husband to one Beautiful wife and work as an electrician for my Dad.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because It makes me happy to know that I can have my family forever. The gospel makes sense to me. Without it I would find life very unfair. There are poor, starving, wars, disasters. All these things are unfair if you don't understand the plan of happiness God has for us. Life is hard but with the knowledge of Gods' plan, I know and find comfort that whatever life throws at me and my family, it can all work out in the end.

How I live my faith

I am trying to follow the example of and to become like my Heavenly Father. Listening, loving, being patient. What better example to have as a parent. And what a great example to teach my children. I've had the opportunity to be a missionary in South Korea where the highlight of my experience there was being able to see people gain a testimony of the Savior and then seeing their lives change because of it. I've also taught youth on Sundays and am now helping the men at church to fulfill their responsibilities as fathers, priesthood holders and good citizens. I feel the best way to find happiness is to know the Savior. This is why I teach my children of him, teach at church and share what I know with those I meet.
