Hi I'm Senica

I love to laugh and sing. I love my dog. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a part time college student living at home. My best friend is a 2 1/2 year old, 83 lb. Goldendoodle. His name is Arthur. He shows me how fun and worth while life can be. I love to create things. I love to crochet hats, bags, scarfs, etc. I love to write very amateur songs on my guitar. I love to do cheesy, festive things during the holidays like carve pumpkins, dress up for Halloween, bust out Christmas music the moment Thanksgiving day is over, make ginger bread houses, go caroling, and watch yearly staples like It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Arsenic and Old Lace, It's a Wonderful Life, and White Christmas. And above all, I love spending time with my awesome friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon; not because I was blessed to have been raised in the church, but because I have searched for the truth and have gained my own undeniable testimony. My answer has come slowly but unquestionably every single day through the peace I feel and the spirit burning within my heart. I can see the Lord's hand in my life. After getting lost down dark and miserable paths, I can now recognize the light. I am a Mormon because it is the church of Jesus Christ, and I love my Savior. I am devoting my life to Him because He gave His life for mine. The gospel brings me such peace and joy, all I want to do is sing and shout out to the world, "ALLELUIA!! OUR SAVIOR LIVES!" I want to share this light. It's so exciting to be a part of God's marvelous work in this dispensation of the world! I want to show everyone where to find the truth. I wish everyone could taste of the sweetness of the gospel because I have tasted it, and nothing could be more delicious or fulfilling.

How I live my faith

I am fortunate enough to have time to regularly attend 5 Institute classes (religious courses for college students). There is no better place to be spending my time. I also live my faith every single day by spending time with my family, by only participating in healthy, uplifting activities with my friends, by keeping the Lord close to me through personal scripture reading and prayer. I love getting involved with service projects. My mother has always been a great example to me through her charity. Christ showed us how we must love and serve those around us. We are here to uplift each other; to comfort and serve one another. This is what Christ taught. And this is what my church teaches, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This is why I love being a Mormon!
