Hi I'm Peter

I Believe in God and in his beloved son Jesus Christ, and i am a Mormon.

About Me

Hi my names Peter, and i am a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for about 5 years now. I'm 18, and just finished graduating with a certificate in Communication, Literacy and Numeracy skills. I am currently unemployed but seeking a Job. I love to spend time with the family, and also love hanging out with friends. I love to read, and just ponder things.. I love playing touch rugby, rugby itself and also basketball. I love to sing, and play the guitar. I have a passion in writing also.. so i would love to write a book about something one day and also a song. I love the church and i love the members of the church. I'm sure your sick of me saying the word 'love' but love to me is the love you say to things that makes you happy. So i love all these things because it makes me happy and fills me with the spirit of joy and Love. I also LOVE you to.

Why I am a Mormon

I was about 13 years old when i was baptized into the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with my two older brothers. I remember like it was just yesterday when the missionaries came to share us a message with us, about Jesus Christ and about the restoration of his church. We were Methodists at the time, so my parents were strict with our beliefs and in what church we should join. We did, however kept seeing the missionaries and just loved learning from them. My dad at the time worked night shifts from 5pm to the morning and my mother happened to be overseas for a month, so we thought we would invite the missionaries over after 5pm, and they would always teach us wonderful lessons without our parents knowing lol, and when they had asked where our parents where, We told them they were out and about. My parents eventually discovered we were being taught by the missionaries, but somehow, or someway they softened their hearts against us and gave us a choice weather we could join the church or not. So without hesitation or doubts me and my two older brothers were baptized on that same month. A year later my little sister was baptized, and about 3 years after that, my mother was baptized. So i was not only converted with my brothers and sister, but my mother who was strong in the Methodist church was baptized. My father, brother and sister on the other hand are not baptized, but i believe one day, they will come to know the truthfulness of this church and be baptized. Being baptized in the church i will never regret, and by just accepting that message the missionaries had to share that very day was the best decision me and my brothers have ever made. I will never forget my conversion to this church and how that decision had changed me and my families lives. We mormons are not asking you to believe us as we knock on your door and share a message, but we are asking you to have the decency to at least try, because you will never know unless you try.

How I live my faith

I live my faith but acting on it. I go church every Sunday and i do a lot of work in the church. I have had many callings in the church and have 2 callings at the moment. I help the youth, and i have taught lessons and have been out with missionaries whenever i get the chance to . I am now preparing to become a missionary and have the desire to share others my conversion story and how this gospel has changed my life, and also how it can change there's. I have never really understood life until i joined this church. I now know the answer to the questions in life. Where did i come from, who am i, why i'm here and where i'm going after this life. I testify that this church is true, and that God lives and Jesus Christ lives and that he is the Savior and Redeemer of this world, and that he will come really soon to judge the world according to their works. I pray for you all to learn of these messages, to soften your heart and spare at least 10-15mins of your time to hear this eternal message. It is the message of Jesus Christ and it show all what they must do to gain peace and happiness in this life and in the life to come. This is my testimony of the Father and of the Son, i write these things in the holy name of Jesus Christ. Amen
