Hi I'm Mary

I am married and have two daughters. Both my daughters are diabetic, yes, it can be tough, but I'm strong. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of two daughters. I am organized in most areas of my life, but that has worked to my advantage because both my daughters are diabetic. I am just learning how to crochet, which has always been something that I've wanted to learn. I support my husband who is a nurse and is going to school full time. In my college days I learned ASL, I use it sometimes now, but would love to use it more so that I don't lose it!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a wonderful family who were members of this church. As a teenager my parents told me and even encouraged me to visit other churches with my friends, but I never felt comfortable there. People were friendly, but I knew something was different than from my church. Since then I have grown to love the gospel and have learned so much about my Heavenly Father's love for me. Jesus Christ is not only my Savior, but also my brother whom I am eternally greatful for his sacrifice for me.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving with the youth in the church. I have to opportunity to teach them every Sunday with a lesson that teaches various things for example; being dishonest and what it can do to those around you, getting to know your individual worth, and money management. I am also able to get to know other women who live in my area, of different ages. I love to sit and visit with them and learn of their experiences in life. I enjoy learning from others and look forward to many more lessons to me taught to me.
