Hi I'm Krista.

I'm a wife. I'm a mom of boys. I'm a dance teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married to my very best friend. I'm the mom of 2 busy and awesome boys. I'm a dance teacher, and have been very involved in the dance industry for most of my life. I love putting on productions. I love music and the performing arts. I love being organized. I love scrapbooking and writing in my journal. I enjoy sending cards and helping others. I'm a college graduate. When I say I'm going to do something... I do it!

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon! Living the Lord's standards brings me such peace, protection, and happiness. I love knowing that my family can be together forever because I am sealed to them in the temple of the Lord. I love the good family values that are taught in this church and I know that living them will help my family to be stronger and closer. I have a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I know that He lives. I know that I am a daughter of God and He knows me individually and loves me no matter what mistakes I make. I want people to see that I am happy and to know it's because of the standards that I live. I know I am teaching these standards to my kids because of the example I set for them. I want people to look at me and know that I'm a Mormon because it's so obvious.

How I live my faith

I've been in the dance industry for most of my life and have been teaching dance to others for over 20 years. I get to create dances by doing the choreography, costume designs, and music selections. Being in this industry, I have seen many crude and inappropiate dances, costumes and music. I want to make a difference by setting a higher standard in the performing arts. I will never compromise my standards by trying to be more "current" or "edgy". I want to feel good about what I have created and taught to my students. I have become even more passionate about this ever since I became a Young Womens Leader. At church I currently get to teach and work with girls ages 12-18. This is a volunteer position that I take very seriously and devote much of my personal time to. We are taught in Young Womens that we are daughters of God and that we should live the Young Womens Values of modesty and being virtuous. Also that we should live the standards that have been set for the youth of the church. I want my example as a leader to the young women to be consistant with what I teach my dance students. I want to show the world that the performing arts can be wholesome and enjoyable to people of all ages. I want to teach my dance students that they can feel good about what they are doing and what they are wearing and that they never have to compromise their standards to fit in or be accepted.
