Hi I'm Adam

I love my Savior and my family. I served a mission in San Diego. God has been so good to me. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in Northern California. Growing up, I loved being with my family, playing sports, and just having fun. I have learned that this life is not the end, that each of us has an eternal destiny. I just returned from a two year mission in San Diego, CA. I am currently going to BYU-Idaho. I have really learned from personal experience that we have a Heavenly Father who knows us all better than we know ourselves. I have amazing parents and two great brothers. My friends and extended family are the best. I hope to meet someone everyday who I can help and serve.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this church, but I did not know that it was right for me until my later teen years. God, our Heavenly Father, is a god of order and He has established a specific plan for us to return to Him. I'm a Mormon because I've accepted the invitation of Christ and His prophets to know if what I have been taught is true. And it is. The Holy Spirit has confirmed it to me. If we follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ and keep God's commandments we are promised eternal joy with God and our loved ones. What more could you ask for?

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to live my life exactly the way Jesus did. Jesus was completely obedient to His Father, and loved everyone by giving service His entire life. If we want to experience true happiness we need to do the same. Currently, I'm in college and have the great opportunity of serving my brothers and sisters everyday. In the church we are organized geographically into different family groups called wards. In our wards we are given different responsibilities that enable us to serve even more. Love is the motivation behind our faith and all this service. God loved us enough to allow us to come here and grow. Christ sacrificed Himself in the ultimate act of love. All they asked of us is to share that charity with everyone.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Serving a mission is one of the greatest experiences of this life. Young men have been called by a prophet of God to give two years of their lives in the service of the Lord. Young women and older people, couples or single, also have the opportunity to serve at their own discretion. We have all been blessed with the amazing power to choose called agency, and everyone needs to make the choice to serve a mission. No one is forced to go. The blessings that come from a mission are worth every second of time spent away from home. Show more Show less
