Hi I'm Jessica

I'm a stay at home mom. I'm a triathlete. I'm an Education Consultant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a former high school teacher. I work part time as an Education Consultant for a software company. I have two kids. I am married. I like to scrapbook, sew, play sports, waterski, go boating at the lake, and do crafts. I like to compete in triathlons. I like to exercise. I like to spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of this church. I gained my own testimony of the gospel at a young age. I decided at this young age that I wanted to follow Heavenly Father's commandments. Following the commandments brings me joy in my life. My faith helps me get through the trials I am faced with. I know Joseph Smith restored the gospel. He translated the Book of Mormon. Reading and studying the scriptures helps me in my daily life. Heavenly Father loves each of us. He answers our prayers. He has answered my prayers countless times. I know that families can be together forever. I have a deep desire to be with my family forever and know this is possible through keeping and following the commandments.

How I live my faith

I work with the children ages 18 months-11 years old in our church. I help teach them songs and principles about the gospel. Their testimonies and faith strengthen my testimony of the gospel each week. I also get to visit several women each month, where we talk about our experiencies, our children, our struggles, our successes, etc. This gives us time outside of church to really visit and get to know each other. These women are not the same age as me, but because I get to visit them each month, we have become friends. I love when I get to help organize events at church such as the Halloween, Christmas, and Easter parties. I love seeing everyone come together and enjoy a fun evening. The events help us further rejoice in our Savior Jesus Christ.
