Hi I'm Lynette

I'm a Mormon. My husband and I have 14 wonderful children. I get to teach seminary and piano lessons each school day.

About Me

I love my role as a wife and mother. My husband is a prince of a man. We have been blessed with 14 wonderful children. So far 8 are married and they have blessed us with 31 grandchildren. I enjoy teaching seminary and teaching piano lessons each school day. We have 2 children serving full-time missions right now and 4 are in college. I write a family letter each week to help us keep in touch. It also serves as part of our family history.

Why I am a Mormon

Because Christ restored His church upon the earth again through the prophet Joseph Smith, I CAN and WANT to be a member of Christ's church on earth today. I cannot refuse His greatest gift--eternal salvation. I want to serve Him and show my love and thanks to Him by obedience to His commandments. I have chosen to dedicate my life to following Jesus Christ as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because this brings me so much joy, happiness, well-being, purpose and peace. I know I came from a loving Father in Heaven. His Son Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. Through His great atoning sacrifice we will all be resurrected. We can repent of our sins and become clean and worthy to inherit eternal life--God's life. Because our family strives to follow the teachings of Jesus restored to the earth in these latter days through the Prophet Joseph Smith, we are filled with love for each other. Our lives are happy. We have purpose and direction. We know where we came from, why we are here and where we are going.

How I live my faith

I participate in my community through raising up children who are honest, hard working and service oriented. They love their fellow men and they spend their days helping, lifting and blessing others lives. They've participated in Boy Scouts, service clubs, student leadership, community service and church service. All 14 of our children have served full-time missions. Those with children are raising families who follow this same pattern. We cherish our 55 grandchildren. I support my husband in his service in the church, the community and work and especially as a husband and father. He has just retired as a CPA so we can serve this mission. He has spent his life serving others as a Bishop, Stake President, Seminary Teacher, Rotarian and in the Boy Scouts of America. I have taught piano lessons for 35 years. I enjoy visiting the elderly and being with children and sharing meals. I love music and enjoy sharing any talents the Lord has given me. I feel blessed beyond measure.
