Hi I'm Jason Ashby

I'm a Member of The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter Day Saints. I'm fun size, I'm social, Music is my life, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 22. I love to play the Piano and write arrangements of hymns. If you would like to listen to them please look me up on Youtube or Facebook. I feel that music can really bring peace, can inspire us to be better, lead us to have a fulfilling life, and can bring us closer to Jesus Christ. I feel like that is my motivation for writing and arranging music. I also play the Guitar, Ukelele and i like to Sing. I love to go on dates, go to dances, and be really social. I'm also a part time DJ. I'm studying Information Systems at Brigham Young University with a minor in Music.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of this church. Not just because it makes sense, because its "easy" to be a member in Utah, or because my parents have brainwashed me. I have asked God in prayer to know of truths. I have asked him to know if the Book of Mormon is True. God has answered my prayer. He has witnessed to me by the power of the Holy Ghost that This Church is Jesus Christs True Church. I have had enough witnesses throughout my life that I am convinced by God power that this is where I'm supposed to be.

How I live my faith

My faith is motivates the way i live my life. I feel that most of my life's direction comes from what I have learned from Jesus Christ, and his chosen Servants. I have made a personal commitment to read the scriptures everyday, and speak to God in prayer on a regular day to day basis. I try to live my life with a desire to become like Jesus Christ, so i try to follow in his ways. I know in this life i will never be perfect, but as i strive to do better each day, i feel a sense of peace as I improve and as i know that God is proud of the good things i do. I'm glad that God is patient with me and my shortcomings and has provided a way for me to become perfect or rather complete only with his son Jesus Christ.
