Hi I'm Shawn

I am a family man who loves life and all the great things god made for us.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Proud father of five beautiful children.Married to my best friend for 26 fun filled years.Love the great outdoors and spending time with the family i enjoy hiking hunting camping and sports mostly basketball and football. Also enjoy 4 grandchildren who make everyday simply wonderful.

Why I am a Mormon

The plan of of happiness is just what it says it is and when we do all that we can to live it we truly come to know how much our Heaven Father really cares and loves each and every one of us as his children. The gospel teaches us to love and serve one another when we do this we show our desire to be like Jesus.Being a lifelong member of the church i have seen and heard lots and lots of powerful testimonies that has made my own even stronger.I know that we were sent here to earth to gain a body and be tested and that if we pass that test we can return again to live with our Heavenly Father and we can have our families there as well to live together forever. The family is the most important part of Heavenly Fathers plan and thru genealogy and temple work we can assist those who have gone before and give them the chance to accept the gospel and have eternal life.

How I live my faith

As a member of the church i attend weekly meetings where i listen to talks and lessons that strengthen my beliefs and testimony. We also do service projects that aid the sick and the elderly and others by getting wood, cleaning yards, helping those who may be relocating and we help with the cleaning of our building we meet in as well as taking the opportunity to clean one of the temples in our area.I pay my tithing to our bishop as well as a monthly fast offering to help the needy and to assist in the building of temples and church meeting houses worldwide. We hold family prayer and blessings of our meals to show gratitude for the things we have been blessed with.We read scriptures and church magazines which contain articles written by prophets and apostles that teach us how to be better people.
