Hi I'm Rob

I'm Arizona raised. With a little grit & polish I grind out an honest living and enjoy being around my family...and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy and appreciate all that this wonderful world has to offer. Simply put, if it involves the ocean or the mountains, then count me in. I'm a father who appreciates the company of his wife and children. When I am not in the community ensuring the peace is kept, I am following up with the kids and their never ending homework assignments and school projects (Fathers you know what I'm talking about.) I appreciate the progress of technology; however I prefer a simpler approach to life. If it’s between sending a text message or shaking a hand...I'll look you in the eyes and shake the hand every time.

Why I am a Mormon

For as long as I can remember I have held in my heart a burning testimony of Jesus Christ and His gospel. Whether the flame began by loving parents who taught me early in my life the difference between right or wrong, or whether it was from earlier years of attending Sunday school. Regardless, the basic knowledge and understanding of who the Savior was and why he came to earth has been a source of peace throughout my life. Life itself can be complicated and challenging at times. It was supposed to be that way. Living the teachings of Jesus Christ has instilled courage within me to face those challenges...and provided clarity and direction to those complicated moments in my life. As I serve my family and others around me, my love for my fellow man increases, and my desire to do good grows stronger. All that I am that is good and honorable is attributed to a loving family and an honest and pure religion. I have strong conviction in my heart...that the religion of which I am apart...is the Lords church. The same church that the Savior himself established while he walked along the shores of Galilee, and amongst the people in Jerusalem. That same church...and the original teachings of the Savior...have been restored in our day...and is known as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. A faith that I am privileged and honored to be a part of.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church, one can expect to be given opportunities to serve. To "serve one another" was one of the Saviors beloved commandments given to his disciples. I currently have the opportunity to work with and serve the young men of the Church in my area. From the age of 12 through 18 years of age, I assist with the growth and spiritual development of these young men. It's quite amazing to see the challenges these young men face on a regular basis. Assisting and inspiring these young men in developing their character and strengthening their commitment to live up to their individual potential is a privilege. As I serve in this capacity, It becomes clear to me how fortunate we are to have such faithful and devoted young men out their within our communities. Within or without the Mormon Church...our future is brighter as a result of the quality if youth we have around us. My ability to serve effectively and confidently stems from my personal obedience to the Lords commandments, from following the counsel of a living prophet, and from the impressions upon the heart when praying to our Heavenly Father. These simple steps not only help me within my church responsibilities, but they help me in the work place and when providing direction to family members as well. Living my faith...living my religion...not only helps me greatly navigate through the storms of life, but it helps me enjoy the sunny days with more appreciation. I enjoy being a Mormon.
