Hi I'm Misty Coffman

I am a legal nurse consultant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of ten children. I am the first member of my family to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I joined the church at the age of 16 ~ just prior to my senior year in high school. It was not easy and alot of my friends did not understand my decision. I had read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it. I got confirmation that I had finally found the Savior's church here upon the earth. My dad passed away when I was twelve. I knew that he was not just in the ground and that was that. I desired to know where my dad was and how our family could be together forever. The Lord answered my prayers. It took alot of courage for a young man to present the Book of Mormon to me and to challenge me to read it and pray about it. I appreciate his courage and am grateful to him. I am a legal nurse consultant, I own my own business, I have three great daughters and a wonderful, supportive husband. Our family has an eternal perspective which helps us get through the day to day challenges. I know that the Savior lives. I know that he loves each of us and wants the best for us, just as we want the best for our own children.

Why I am a Mormon

I read the Book of Mormon. I prayed to know of its truthfulness for myself. Heavenly Father answered my prayer. I know that this is the true Church of Jesus Christ. He is at the head of it. He knows each of us personally. He is my friend.

How I live my faith

I try to be kind and helpful to others. I love my girls and my family. I try to help people realize that they are literal daughters and sons of God. I pray for others and invite them to learn of my faith.
