Hi I'm Juliet

I'm a sister, a daughter and a reader. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my life. I wake up early before it's light outside to read. I enjoy writing letters, baking cookies, and dancing while I walk. I love F. Scott Fitzgerald and going on runs at dusk. I'm a nursing student because I love to make other people comfortable and give them hope in times of trouble. I'm a sister and a daughter. I love my family, they are my best friends. I want to be a mother. I think that would be the greatest thing I could ever do.

Why I am a Mormon

Simply because it makes me happy. It makes me happy to know that I'm a member of Christ's true church. I say my prayers and read my scriptures everyday and I can feel those actions lift my spirits. Living the standards within the church gives me much joy as well! All of the principles and doctrine are correct and true. I know that by following them I'm doing what is right, and what will give me the best life possible.

How I live my faith

I just love my ward with all of my heart! I am an activities supervisor which means I get to plan events for everyone to attend. I get together with the activities committee and we discuss fun things to do, and ways we get help everyone get to know each other better. It's such great fun! I love hearing everyone's creative ideas and seeing all of those ideas come together in such an inspired way. My other calling is as a visiting teacher. This will probably always be my favorite calling, because I'll have it for the rest of my life. I am assigned two young women in the ward to visit and share a spiritual message with once a month. I offer to help them if they ever need something and keep up with them and their lives so I can help without them having to ask. I have grown to love these girls by serving them. I bring them things like cookies, cake bites and little quotes from church leaders throughout the month, just so they know I'm thinking about them. It's quite a joy, I'm telling you!
