Hi I'm Pam

I grew up in Colorado and have lived all over. I am in Texas now and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of 4 boys and married to a wonderful man named Greg. I went to the University of Colorado at Boulder and have a degree in Molecular Biology. I am a runner and I love to exercise. I am currently a full time mom.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church with strong and faithful parents. I never really had doubts but when I was a teenager, I decided that I needed to know if the church was true for myself. I said a simple prayer and felt such a feeling of peace. I had felt this feeling many times but never as strong as it was at that moment. I knew then that I knew for myself that it was true. I try to live my life as close to Jesus Christ as I can. I know that by doing so, I will be happy and have peace. I find that as I live the gospel, my rough edges are smoothed away and I become more patient, loving and tolerant of others. I become a better parent and I have more understanding and more desire to serve my family and those around me. I know that someday, if I continue to live a Christ like life, I will return to live with my Heavenly Father and Savior.

How I live my faith

I am blessed to teach an early morning class for high school students that is about the Bible. I meet with them every morning before school for about an hour. It is an amazing way to start the day. Together we learn about the Jesus Christ and the prophets of the scriptures. It is inspiring to work so closely with young people. They are a wonderful example of working hard and still making time for the things in life that really matter. I also try to teach my children to learn for themselves about the gospel. I want them to know of themselves that it is true so that they, too, can have peace in their lives. I try to be a good example to them. In our community, I serve in the schools where my children attend and I try to volunteer and help out wherever I can. I love to work with the wonderful people in our schools and I love to be a part of my children's educational experience.
