Hi I'm Kylie.

I am just a college girl with big dreams, wanting to succeed at everything possible. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 22-year-old college student trying to answer the #1 question we college students all ask ourselves: What am I going to do with my life? It’s hard to decide on one thing when I want to do so many things: be a public relations specialist, an amazing web designer, the best cook around, a fun wife and mom, a tropical traveler, and whatever else comes to mind that makes me happy. Who knows… maybe someday I will be able to combine all my interests together and live the perfect life. I am a senior in college majoring in communications. My emphasis is public relations, and I absolutely love it. I also have a double minor in business and web design that I enjoy as well. I love being random, outgoing, and enjoying anything fun that can be found! My family and friends mean the world to me and it is through them that I have become the person I am today. I am so blessed to have the life I do! Basically, I am just a college girl with big dreams, wanting to succeed at everything possible.

Why I am a Mormon

To be honest, I have never really thought deeply about this question until now. I have the basic answers: I was born Mormon, I have always gone to church and participated in church activities, I now go to a church college and am surrounded by other Mormons, and it seems that I just don't know any different. But without the gospel and the knowledge that my beliefs provide, I don't think I would be truly happy. I know who I am, who I was before I came to this earth, and where I'm going where I die. I have been so blessed in my life and I know I would not be as blessed as I am without my Savior's help. I know He loves me and wants what is best for me. I love how my religion is centered around families. Knowing that I have the opportunity to be with my family forever gives me such comfort. I love temples, our wonderful prophet Thomas S. Monson, the Book of Mormon, and so many other things that are in my life that come from being a Mormon. We can all find our own type of happiness, but I know that true and everlasting happiness only comes from being Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the small and simple things. I read my scriptures, say my prayers, serve others in either my calling or on my own time, and do the other typical things any Mormon would do. I also make sure to use my time wisely. I make choices that although they may not be big ones now, they somehow seem to make a huge impact on my life in the long run. I try to be an example to other by following the perfect example, which is Jesus Christ. I try my hardest to do my best even in the most difficult situations. I know that I am not given any trial that I can't handle. I grow and become a better Daughter of God through the hard times as long as I keep my head up and wear a smile whenever possible.
