Hi I'm Linda

I'm a small town girl from Texas who moved to the big city of Phoenix. I enjoy being a grandmother and yes, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of three children. I spent my childhood between 5 places in the world because my father served in the navy. We lived in Texas, Pueto Rico, Florida, Georgia, Rhode Island and then back to Texas where my siblings and I spent much of our youth at the beach, having picnics and just being together as a family. I went to business college in Texas. I love learning and reading. When I'm not with my grandchildren you can find me hiking a mountain in my free time. I have visited London, France, Australia, Mexico and Hawaii and I would love to travel more.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that God lives and has a plan for me and for all of His children. I believe that if I keep the commandment and have faith in my savior Jesus Christ that I will live with Him and my family after my life here on earth. I have comfort in the knowledge that if I live my life in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ I will be filled with the greatest joy which is eternal life! Living the gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happier than I ever thought possible. It is truly unmatched.

How I live my faith

I love that as members of the Church of Jesus Christ we can serve others at church as well as in the community. Currently, I am teaching the 11 and 12 year old boys and girls on Sunday about the teachings of Christ and how reading the scriptures help us feel closer to our savior. I look forward to attending church on Sunday and feeling the testimonies of others and the spirit that resides there. I love to visit teach the sisters of the ward because we become close friends and encourage and love each other. I read the Book of Mormon every day and this helps me develop a great understanding of God's love for me.
