Hi I'm David

I'm an opera singer in New York City. I used to be a professional chef. I'm a husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a professional opera singer in New York and I also have my own photography business that caters to classical musicians. I love the arts. My wife is a full-time oil painter and the organist at church, so art and music are ever present in our day to day lives. I married my best friend in the temple in San Diego almost five years ago and have loved every minute of it. I also used to cook professionally and love food of all kinds. I enjoy camping, hiking, hunting, horseback riding, and shooting. I spend a lot of my free time building and restoring things like furniture and something really unique; knives. I have a huge passion for forging knives from a solid piece of metal. I mostly make kitchen knives and flatware for my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I want to return to live with God and Jesus Christ and I know that the only way to do that is through the atonement of Christ and by following His gospel. I also believe that that gospel was lost from the earth along with the authority to administer it. I know that The Lord restored His church and His authority back to the earth through a prophet that He called and that church is still lead by a living prophet today. I also love the teachings of the church about how to navigate through the trials and temptations of this life and how we can be a family forever.

How I live my faith

I think that the key to living one's faith is to strive every day to honestly do our best to follow the example of Jesus Christ. That means serving others, praying to our Heavenly Father, and repenting when we fall short.
