Hi I'm Mark

I'm the only red-head in my family, served a mission in Alaska, going to college to be History teacher and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Church with my three other siblings. I swam, ran, and marched for my High School after which I went to College for a year studying Civil Engineering. Now I attend a different institution now studying to be a History Teacher. I put that all aside to serve a mission for the Church. I served that mission in Alaska speaking Spanish which I thought was a little weird, yet I wouldn't have done it any other way.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church yet, there came a time when I too questioned my beliefs. Are what my parents telling me true? Is this where I need to be? I did what I thought best, I searched. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it. I found out that yes, it is true and this is what I need to be doing. From then on I have continued to grow in knowledge and understanding and have not found anything to divert me from this path.

How I live my faith

I am living my faith because I put everything aside, my family, my friends, and my education, to serve my Lord and my God here in Alaska. In order to have done that I read the Holy Scriptures every day here in the mission field and I read them everyday before I left. I also live my faith by following the example of Jesus Christ and serving others around me.
