Hi I'm Greg

German was my first language. I love to travel and meet interesting people. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family with four sisters and one brother and together, along with my parents, travelled around Europe for most of my youth. Being born and raised in Germany instilled a love in me for the German people as well as a love of travel and adventure. As a Husband and father, I have tried to plant these same seeds in my family as we have had the opportunity to travel to Europe on a number of occasions. I believe the world is full of fascinating people who all have interesting stories and unique talents that I can learn from and hopefully share mine with. Living in Georgia for the past several years has been a great experience for all of us. I’ve met many friends in Georgia and I consider it a privilege to be associated with them. I can’t say I love or even like boiled peanuts, but I can say that I LOVE barbeque!

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a Mormon for one simple reason…its true. When I look around at all the white noise and challenges that face us and our children on a daily basis, I am happy that we can find strength, peace, and security within the organization of the church and the teachings of Christ. I’m grateful for the resources that are available to us in helping to raise morally centered children that believe in God and know that they can pray to him and he will answer their prayers. For me, its simple…look at the output and from that, you can tell whether or not the input was good.

How I live my faith

I’m not perfect…far from it. The great news is that each day I can try to be a little better. Christ suffered for us and through his divine grace we are indeed saved! I try to provide service whenever an opportunity presents itself. A heavy burden is a lot lighter when there are many hands to help. For me personally, I find great satisfaction and joy in serving others. Give me a chainsaw and I will help clear away fallen trees after a storm. If a service project requires the use of any and all tools, count me in! Although I used to snow blow several neighbors driveways during the winter months prior to moving to Georgia, it hasn’t quite snowed enough for me to fire up my Snow blower here yet  I like to make people laugh and smile.
