Hi I'm Keshia

I am a wife and a stay-at-home mother of a little girl. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised a Mormon in Utah. I have a close family that I adore. I have danced my whole life and I made my dream collegiate team and danced there for three years. I worked as a dance teacher and choreographer for several years. I graduated college in civil engineering. I had a couple internships but I felt my most important calling in life was to be a wife and mother. I was sealed to my husband and best friend during college and a sweet little girl joined our family right before I graduated. Now I am a stay-at-home mom and couldn't be happier. I enjoy helping and serving others. I like to be involved in my community and I like social settings. My hobbies include crafting, dancing, sewing, cooking, crocheting, and reading. I am also trying to teach an aerobics class to help me and others stay healthy. I love my Savior, my family, people, and life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me peace and joy I can't find anywhere else in this world. I have a testimony of the Savior and I know he lives. I know the Prophet Joseph Smith was a true prophet and translated the Book of Mormon. I know this book is the word of God. It gives me guidance and peace when I need it and helps me keep an eternal perspective. I know we have a living prophet today to lead us in the way our Savior directs him. I also have a testimony of eternal families and I love the promise that we can live with our families forever if we live worthily. The Holy Ghost has testified to me this is the true church of Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily by praying to my Heavenly Father and reading my scriptures. Every Sunday I attend my church meetings and partake of the sacrament. My calling is to teach 5-year-olds during their primary hour at church. I teach them the basic principles of the gospel and share my testimony with them about these truths. I am also a visiting teacher and love making friends and being able to help and serve them. I attend the temple when I can to serve those who have already passed. I try to outwardly live my faith by keeping my covenants and being a kind friend to everyone I meet. I strive to live as an example of a disciple of Christ.
