Hi I'm Anne

I'm a Mormon. I'm also a wife, mother, grandmother and a doctor.

About Me

I am a wife, the mother of 4 wonderful children and a physician. I love all my roles, but they do not leave me a lot of time for other hobbies and interests. My hardest and also most rewarding work is parenting my 4 children. I am also blessed to be the grandmother of 3 beautiful grandaughters. My youngest 2 children are adopted and they have brought lots of love and joy into our lives. I enjoy working as an urgent care phsician because it allows me to serve others in important ways. I have just relocated to a new state to be closer to family and am finding out that moving is very hard!

Why I am a Mormon

I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints about 16 years ago. Prior to joining the church, family members had expressed concerns that the church was a cult and very controling. This is NOT true - infact quite the opposite is true, the church teaches the importance of our freedoms. A major teaching of the church is that people have "free agency" , the right to choose. Being a member of the church has greatly blessed my life and the lives of my entire family. (Now we are all members.) I have especially appreciated the help I have received from the gospel in parenting my 4 children. I have learned more about strengthening my family through the church than through the library of at least 25 book on parenting that I have read. My children love the church youth programs, and I know they are engaged in worthwhile activities with close supervision while they participate.

How I live my faith

I think Iam a better person because of my membership in the church. I have had many special experiences through my service in the church. I particularly enjoy teaching children in their Primary classes.
