Hi I'm Emily

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Emily, and I am a fun girl who lives by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a music teacher for elementary aged students, and I love my job! I recently became a wife when I married my best friend in the temple a few days ago. I love music, dancing, doing "do-it-yourself" projects and learning new recipes.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, into a strong family with great parents to set an example for me. Although I was raised in such a strong home, I had to decide for myself whether or not I had a testimony of the gospel for myself. There was never one "deciding" moment that determined whether or not I would live gospel standards. Every time I do what is right, I feel it. There are many instances, starting in my teenage years, where I have felt Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ's love for me, and that is something I cannot ever deny. I know that this church is true, and that Jesus Christ lives and loves me. I've felt it my whole life, and I continue to feel it as I go about my daily activities and responsibilities. I know that being a member of the church brings me true happiness because I am living the principles and doctrines that our Heavenly Father has asked of us. I know that being happy comes through following Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in everything I do. I try my best to set an example of patience and understanding for those around me that I come in contact with. I live my faith by attending the temple often, and serving those around me.
