Hi I'm Jacob Quinn McKenna

I like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain, I love to laugh and have a good time, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a man of many interests. I love nature and love having fun outside. I like to listen, play, and record music. If I could pick one thing to do, that would be to be surrounded by the people I love. You can be doing anything and still have a good time. I am planning on going to USU when I get back from my mission. Then I want to go to medical school down the road. It would be awesome to be ER doctor. I just want to help people. I want to be able to record music as a hobby.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to be born into the church. I was raised with good morals and a tendency to be a good person. Before my mission I don't think that I have ever had a real answer if the book of Mormon was true. I knew it was a good book, and I lived it, but I never got my "answer". That could be due to the fact that I didn't read it as much as I should, and I never asked. Now that I have been on my mission I know for a fact that it is from God. I have read it over and over, and have lived its teachings. I have seen it help my life and everyone around me. I know that it is inspired of God and that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lords kingdom once again established on this earth. I would not be a Mormon if I didn't have that testimony. You too can gain a testimony of the truthfulness and divinity of the Book of Mormon. All you need to do is read from its pages, ponder the message it contains, and to ask God in the name of Christ "Is the Book of Mormon true" I know that if you take those steps you will gain your answer.

How I live my faith

I live my faith right now, by serving my Lord for 2 years. I didn't think that going on a mission would change who I was. Boy was I wrong. I have learned so much and grown so much. I thought that I knew who my savior was before I left, but through my faithful service I have grown closer to him. Now I truly do know my master and have a wonderful relationship with him. When I get home I plan to give my all to the Church. I want to give back everything that the Lord has given me.
