Hi I'm Rob

I'm a Parks & Rec Sports Coordinator, a Realtor, and a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a married dad to four children (2 girls & 2 boys). For work I get to do what I love, serve people. I'm the Sports Coordinator for a municipal parks and recreation department. I also get to play around in real estate a little. When i'm not working i'm with my family doing things they like to do.

Why I am a Mormon

I converted to the church in 1998. I always believed in God and knew that the best way to raise kids is for both parents to have the same beliefs. I met my wife playing softball in 97. She introduced me to the missionaries. During the missionary discussions I just remember wondering when they were going to tell me something I didn't already know. When I prayed to know if the Book of Mormon was true I got no answer. I then realized I was just going through the motions. I then went to my knees and honestly asked in prayer to know if the Book of Mormon was true and the word of God. Obviously, I got my answer. I then converted to the church, got married, had 4 wonderful children, and still enjoy my job. It was one of the best decisions of my life.

How I live my faith

Many people are surprised when they find out I'm a Mormon. I have a warped sense of humor and don't always say the most appropriate things. However, I've gotten better. I believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is all about love. Sure we can say we love people but the way to true love and happiness is through service. Service is the ACT of love. I try to help those that need my help, even if it's just a shoulder to cry on or face to talk to.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

We are here to be the hands of god. We should live our lives so God will choose us to be the blessing in someone's life. God loves each of his children regardless of how they feel about him. If someone is in need we should be willing to help them. Show more Show less
