Hi I'm Ashley.

A G.R.I.T.S. (Girl Raised in the South) who married a man from The Last Frontier. I'm Ashley and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a G.R.I.T.S. (Girl Raised In The South) who married a man from The Last Frontier (Alaska). We met at BYU and although I love grits but my husband doesn't (except for me, of course), we have made our home back in South Carolina. I am the daughter of loving parents, a sister to two older brothers, a wife to a great man, and a stay-at-home mom of three beautiful children. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading to my children, blogging, exercising and serving in the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe its teachings are true and by living the gospel of Jesus Christ, my life has been extremely blessed. I know where I came from, I know why I'm here and I know where I'm going. I know my Savior lives. He knows me personally. I know he will bless me and my family each and every day if I live worthy and keep his commandments. The gospel of Jesus Christ has given me this knowledge and for this, I am grateful.

How I live my faith

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not just for Sunday. It's everyday of your life. It's one thing to go to church, it's another thing to live what you believe and to do it every single day. My example is how I live my faith. My children are watching, my family is watching, my friends are watching, my neighbors are watching but most importantly, my Savior is watching. I'm here to represent him and I cannot let him down.
