Hi I'm Aubrie

I grew up in Utah. I work at a hospital. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married with no children yet. Just trying to get my husband through school and working at a hospital in a different city. I love my job because I get to help others in need and help save lives. I graduated from a University and loved the experience I had there! I feel that my spiritual education was strengthen a lot when I was in college and I met a lot of great people who helped strengthen my testimony in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love to sew, play piano, sing, cook, scrapbook, but most of all I love to serve others and be there for others. I feel like I am closer to God when I help someone in need.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family that was of the LDS faith. My parent's were great examples to me my whole life. They taught me basic gospel principles and I would go on and try to learn more about the church on my own. I was baptized at age 8 and have been going to church regularly since then. I am Mormon because I haven't ever felt happier then I have when I am living the principles of the gospel. When I was 16 years old I didn't know if I really believed in the church or not, so I just kept going because it was expected of me. I'm glad I did go because through my own struggles and fears I was able to find peace in the arms of the Savior. The Lord placed people in my life in order for me to find my way back to what I believed when I was just a child. Now I couldn't think of any reason why I would want to leave such a safe haven. I feel so blessed everyday. The Lord really protects and provides whenever we need Him.

How I live my faith

I taught the 4 year old children for over a year after my husband and I got married and settled into our new ward. The kids were wonderful and have just great minds! I learned that children really are full of the spirit and really want to learn! Whether it be the gospel of Jesus Christ or just asking simple questions like, "why is the sky blue?" I was released from that calling because my job required me to work ever other weekend, which includes Sundays. It's hard to work on Sunday, but I feel that if I am able to go to church when I can and to serve others on that day the Lord will bless me through my efforts. I love listening to General Conference when it comes every 6 months. What a blessing to hear from the Prophet of God! I try my hardest to live the best I can, but I'm not perfect. That is why this gospel is so great because we can pray, repent and try to be the best we can be! When ever we fall or just loss our way the Lord is so mindful of us and will help us find our way back to him. It may take awhile for us to realize it but the Lord is always there for us.
