Hi I'm Rosalie

I am a Mother and a Wife. I have been a Police Officer, Firefighter and EMT. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mother to 2 AMAZING boys and a Step Mother to another AMAZING boy AND BEAUTIFUL girl! I am lucky to have married a man that is my absolute best friend! The Lord gave me a second chance at love and I grabbed a hold and don't plan to let go! Growing up I had the opportunity to attend school, play softball, soccer and attend Seminary. I am the oldest of 7 original children. My parents adopted 4 more a few years ago, so there are 11 of us total! 4 girls and 7 boys! I LOVE to hike, camp, fish, hunt, 4-wheel, rock climb, and ski (when I was younger). I LOVE being outdoors when it's a warm sunny day or a cool fall day as well! I love helping people and have worked as an EMT for a small rural ambulance, I have been a police officer, as well as a firefighter in my life. I have loved all 3 jobs! Now I teach people to BE EMT's so that they can make a difference in their small piece of this world and so that when they walk in the room people say, "Oh, I am so glad it's you and I am so glad you are here!"

Why I am a Mormon

Although independent from birth, I learned VERY early that I can't do things alone. I NEED my Heavenly Father to give me strength each day! I have come to rely on Him for comfort and strength as I have had to face some difficult things in my life. I cherish being able to talk to someone who listens, really listens and to know that he loves me no matter what I have done. Being a Mother I love my children dearly and ALWAYS want the best for them. I would be devastated if I never got to see one or more of them again. I love them with all my heart, no matter what their mood or what they do. I cry when they cry, I hurt when they hurt and I hate seeing them sad, upset or go through rough times. The Savior came to this earth to help us return to our Heavenly Father, BECAUSE our Heavenly Father loves us even more than I love my kids. I am so very grateful for that sacrifice, that I strive to live each day as Christ would want me to so that I CAN return to live with my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being obedient to what my Heavenly Father asks me to do. I serve as the Ward Nursery Leader and enjoy it! The children are so eager to learn and I love teaching them! I also serve, together with my husband, as an Emergency Preparedness Coordinator in my ward. We plan a message each month focusing on different topics that can prepare our ward for emergencies they may encounter in everyday life, not JUST big disasters. I am a Visiting Teacher too. I look forward to visiting my sisters each month and getting to know them better. I take seriously my calling to uplift and exhort the sisters, to strengthen them and to be a SISTER to all. Together with my husband, we teach our children through faith and prayer Christlike attributes and expect them to act accordingly. It's important to us to raise good, faithful children that respect others and their actions and beliefs. That follow the rules, not because they are afraid of consequences, but because they want to do the right thing. We teach our children the value of loving each other and those not of our faith, so that tolerance and love shine through in their character. We teach them to be honest and show them that honesty is STILL the best policy. Most importantly I try to be a friend to everyone I meet. I don't know what you are going through, but if I can make your day ANY better, buy saying Hello, or smiling, I will. You never know the kind of impact you will have on someone by being nice.
