Hi I'm Danielle

I'm a daughter, sister, mother and friend and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of 5 children. My four siblings are adopted and I'm so lucky to have them as my siblings. I'm married to my best friend, Nathan, who I have known since we were freshmen in high school. We have been married for 13 years and each day is a different adventure. He is my rock and the person who knows me the best. We have two children that we thought would never arrive to be a part of our family. Our oldest is a 5 year girl and we have a 9 mo baby boy. Each were miracle babies that became a part of our family when Heavenly Father felt we were ready. We struggled with infertility for 8 years before we were able to adopt our sweet Madison. She is truly a blessing and a joy to have her in our lives. Four years later we were able to conceive with our 2nd which was miracle two in our lives. Being a mom is challenging and rewarding and it's a blessing and an opportunity I never thought I would have. I am grateful and excited to be a mom. I also love to have fun with family and friends. And we love to travel. Hawaii is one of my favorite places besides Disneyland. Before becoming a stay at home mom after our second baby came into our lives, I worked for Arizona State University in the NASA Space Grant Program. I loved working with our students and believed that this program enhanced student’s educational experience while attending school. I was lucky to be a part of this great nationwide program.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe in the Savior, Jesus Christ. I have been a member all my life and have my own testimony of the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith and the Atonement. I have had many experiences in my life to confirm how true this church is. I know I can pray and receive personal answers to my prayers. I know that God has a plan for me and my family and He knows me individually. Every day with prayer, faith, scripture study, and service I know I can become closer to Christ. I am a better person, sister, daughter, friend, mother, and wife because of living these principals in my life.

How I live my faith

Being Mormon is a daily way to live your life. I enjoy it! On Sundays, I have the humble calling of teaching the ladies in our ward once a month. I love this calling and I feel I learn the most from this calling. I love hearing other people’s thoughts or personal experiences about the subject we are discussing that Sunday. I’m also a visiting teacher and visit two amazing women every month. At home, we have family prayer before bed and I know this helps us through the daily grind of life.
