Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Sarah. I am a wife, a sister, a friend, a daughter, a dancer, a runner, a lover, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a political junkie just trying to enjoy life the best I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints completes my life. I was raised in a home with good, kind and loving parents. But I was raised with no religious background. I was taught to be kind and accepting to others. When I was 15 a friend asked if I would be willing to come and meet with the missionaries at her house. After several weeks, I decided that I would respect my friend's religion and meet with the missionaries just once. I remember going home after the first meeting and wanting to learn more. I didn't know then, but now know that I was feeling the spirit. After meeting with the missionaries several times, they asked me if I would get baptized and become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I told them that I would have to think and pray about it. I went home and prayed to Heavenly Father to help me know whether or not to be baptized and if the Mormon Church was true. I received an answer through the spirit that the Church was true. I decided that I wanted to live every day with the spirit and I knew that this was possible by being baptized. I was baptized when I was almost 16 and have never looked back upon my decision. The Mormon Church brings me happiness and joy every single day. I understand my purpose here on earth and why it's so important to be kind and loving to others. I understand why families are so important and how I can live with joy each day. I am so thankful for my friend who invited me to meet with the missionaries and the two missionaries who baptized me, they forever changed my life for the better.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to be like Christ each day. I am not perfect in any way, but I sincerely try each day to reach out to those in need and find ways to serve in my community.
