Hi I'm Don Sherwood

Born and raised in California. Baptized in June of 1999 I was a Bishop from 2006 to 2012. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Proud parnet of 3, 2 now in college, 1 in high school in Danville. Next year is our 25th wedding anniversary! Lifelong diehard SF Giants fan. I've played fast pitch softball for 33 years (since high school)on a team my Dad has sponsored since day 1. I've worked in Telecom, internet and software industries doing financial planning and analysis... What's that? Well, I once explained to my kids, "I tell people what the numbers will look like in the future" to which my youngest replied... "OK, what will an 8 look like?"

Why I am a Mormon

The influence of a great woman, an undeniable testimony, the great values and ethics I want for my kids, and a desire to think more about others than myself. Oh, and you get to speak in church, make lifelong friends you would never meet otherwise, stretch beyond your comfort zone every day, and , yep, we have a softball team.

How I live my faith

I've been a Bishop for 5 years, prior to that served in the bishopric two years. Every day faithful folks call upon me to help them. It is humbling. We do a lot of service like blood drives and helping rebuild youth shelters. I'm inspired every day by others who get by giving.
