Hi I'm Katie C.

I have two sons and two daughters. I love swimming and photography. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am blessed enough to be a stay at home Mom, and I wouldn't have it any other way. My children light up my world with happiness and my husband is truly my better half. In my spare time, I thrive on taking peoples pictures. Why? Because I love watching families interact with each other. I believe families are central to God's plan. One of my favorite quotes reads, "No success can compensate for failure in the home."

Why I am a Mormon

I've been asked numerous times, "Why are you a Mormon?" And my answer is simple. Every ounce of happiness in my life is because of my choice to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The Lord has blessed me time and time again. I prayed sincerely and I know this church is the true church. The peace and happiness it brings is not short-lived. He comforts me in times of heartache and guides me through my trials. I love this church. I love that my life revolves around everything it stands for, everything I stand for. I love knowing that there IS life after death, and that families really can be together forever. My family is my world and I can't imagine them not being by my side.

How I live my faith

I live my faith because I love my faith. I live it by going to church every Sunday, having Family Night every Monday night, and praying to my Father in Heaven daily. In church I get to play the piano for the younger children, ages 3-11, and it is such a joyful experience! There are few things sweeter than hearing little voices sing songs. Family Night is exactly what it sounds like. We gather together as a family and share announcements, a spiritual/church based lesson, a song and a prayer, and then end with a game and treats! The kids love it and our family needs it - especially since life seems to get busier and busier.
