Hi I'm Corinne

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 6 children with an 8 1/2 year gap between the last two. I love to travel. I have an A.S. degree in Travel & Tourism from Brigham Young University. Luckily, my husband enjoys being with me. He loves beautiful things so I like to find beautiful places to travel to, and beauty is everywhere! I also enjoy volunteering and being around my teenagers and their friends. It brings us together as a family as we allow our teenagers to invite friends into our home to play games, eat, and chat. If their friends are comfortable around us as parents it makes our own teenagers comfortable and happy and they in turn love us! I volunteer-teach a swing dance club at the high school and have also substituted. I feel strongly that youth need adults who can lift and praise them during the most important time in their life where they are really practicing choosing right and wrong like they've been taught.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints has brought so much peace, hope, and direction as I try to raise children and teenagers, who will be solid, capable, good citizens in the community and the world. Most importantly, the gospel helps strengthen my marriage as we both commit and keep working on a friendship that can be eternal. Having an eternal friend brings happiness into our daily lives. If we work, play, pray together, and serve each other, we will be able to endure our trials better because we have a true friend who is committed to helping us!

How I live my faith

Presently, I play the organ at church and am responsible for musical selections when we have gatherings of the 8 units in our area. Service is often difficult but the end result brings joy as we stretch ourselves to serve and help others. I love the feeling of hope the Atonement of Jesus Christ gives me. Learning and living the gospel of Jesus Christ ensures me that no matter my mistakes I can repent, keep trying to be a better person, and if I endure to the end, I will have happiness and eternal life with my Heavenly Father and my family.
