Hi I'm Brian

I grew up in California. I work in the telecommunications industry. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of four active children. I recently completed an MBA while, working full time, serving in my church and coaching two soccer teams. I love playing and coaching soccer and if I had more time, I'd love to add more triathlons to the six I've completed.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was taught to have faith in Christ, read the scriptures and pray daily. When I was a teenager, I found myself questioning the things my parents taught me about the gospel. I needed to know for myself if what I had been taught was true. So I decided to started searching the scriptures and pray to find out for myself if the church were true. After reading the Book of Mormon one night I knelt down and prayed, asking the Lord if the Book of Mormon wasn't true. I had the most peaceful and incredible feeling come over me and I knew the Book of Mormon was the word of God and the church is true. From that time on I have always known the church was true. I quickly learned that when I'm following the teachings of the gospel that I'm a happier person.

How I live my faith

I try to participate in my community in many different ways. I volunteer for field trips and I coach youth soccer teams. I've served as a volunteer in the Boy Scouts as an Assistant Scout Master, a Varsity Coach and Venture Scout leader. I have taught Sunday School for elementary school aged children, teenagers and adults. I have also served in various leadership roles responsible for the spiritual and temporal welfare of the people who lived in the area.
